Azucar con T is a registered CFO home bakery based out of Hollister, CA run by Chef Sandra Ortega - a 3rd generation baker born and raised in Monterey County.

After receiving her Culinary Management, BS degree in 2012 in the bay area, she moved back home and eventually got into the nutrition education field, where she has managed a kitchen for over 7 years.

After years of doing freelance cakes, Sandra wanted to do something different and it 2020 Azúcar con T was born. The new name was originally a joke spun off sister business account Sugar + T, and her sister agreed that it would be a good temporary name as "azúcar” represented one of the main ingredients of baking and T represented not only our nickname, but a good pairing of baked goods with tea, a planned future expansion to the line.
